Vincent's Garden of Hope

Vincent's Garden of Hope is the philanthropic arm of The GardenShoppe & The GardenMart.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization inspired by our rescue dog and shop mascot, Vincent, it is our mission to provide support for programs and initiatives that assist with animal adoption and welfare.

Our primary goals include:

  • Increasing visibility and adoption of "code red" dogs in our community and surrounding areas. These dogs, through no fault of their own, have been placed on euthanasia lists if they are not placed with a no-kill rescue, foster, or adoptive family.
  • Assisting with education and over-population prevention services by providing funding for spay and neuter clinics.

Our Story

Of course, our story starts with Vincent! Vincent was adopted from our local rescue group, Pet Friends, in 2018 and was immediately instated as our #1 shop dog. We believe our little old man is approximately 15 years old, and probably our most recognizable (check out that snaggle tooth!) Shortly after, we brought Vince home, we adopted Blonde; our 4-pound sassy chihuahua who lived to the age of 17. We then added Maddie, Leila, and Peter to the clan a few years later after their previous owner had passed away. And our most recent addition, Rosco, joined us in January of 2023 at the age of 8 years old from the Hollister Animal Shelter. We are absolutely passionate about animal rescue and were inspired to help other pets in need find their loving fur-ever homes.

Our Activities
